Kickin' It Off

It's a New Year and I'm feeling a bit restless. Time to do some inner tweaking, challenge myself, learn new things, seek better results and all that jazz. I'm not big on New Year's Resolutions, but I do like the idea of making a few changes.

Here is my 2010 lineup so far ...
Seek ways to improve my blog
Take better pictures for both blog and website
Get physical in order to improve waist size and creativity

What all 3 of these changes have in common is an even better InkSpot Workshop and blog (The Spotter). It is because of you, my supportive customers and readers that I seek to improve. You deserve the BEST!

I'd like to kick off this new year with a little
FREE LUNCH!

I'm feeling generous because
InkSpot Workshop was up 52% in sales for 2009
THANK YOU!

I want to sell my house this year, but because the market is so bad, it will be very challenging.

I recently moved due to a job change, and am currently paying a mortgage and rent. Things are very challenging until I can finally get out from under the two housing payments!

Melissa! Congratulations!! That's great news. I'm sure Chase can't wait to be a big brother.

My biggest change is going to be taking more time for myself so I can be a more refreshed and less-stressed mommy to my two active boys. Happy 2010! Love your blog and visit it everyday!

Such fun! Thanks for offering the giveaway. My biggest change for 2010 is that I am going to "just do it." There are so many things I have been talking about improving, learning, and so on and I just talk - never do it. So... this year I am making a point to take those projects on. :)

My biggest change for 2010 is simple. To smile more! Over the holidays I noticed my lack of smile in pictures. I look older, mad and frustrated. Sure, I'm a busy mom, wife and Etsian like many of us but forcing a smile on this face can only improve my life. My kids and husband will remember joy showing on my face. Not to mention how it will improve how I feel. - Because I feel so happy and grateful for all that I have...time to show it!

Thanks Inkspot for such a fun blog and keep up your work!

I can't believe that it's already 16 days into January...time is flying! I have determined that 2010 is not allowed to be my usual "I didn't get much done yet again" deal. I must shed these (many excess) pounds once and for all. I also want to open a creative business but I'm still working on the details. I know I have to set mini goals on a weekly and monthly basis if I want to have a chance of making this happen.

Congratulations on the huge increase in sales - that's awesome!

My biggest change for 2010 is to focus more on my small etsy business-- when I first my shop, I had no idea what to think. I was so excited to get a small every months but now business has gotten busier and it has really take off that now i must think of changes to improve my organzing skills, more marketing, and ways to improve my look. I am excited to see what 2010 has instore for me!

Keep up the good work Stacy! Your work is amazing and I am a big fan! Hear's to 2010 for all us home businesses! =)

My biggest change will be balancing life as mommy. My baby is 8 weeks old and in March I'm going back to work. 2010 will challenge me to be a mommy, wife, and teacher all in one! It's been a great year so far and I look forward to all it brings. Plus, getting things from InkSpotWorkshop doesn't hurt either!!

Love your blog....I dont set resolutions, only goals because I figure that I cant go wrong with choosing to improve myself and not being obsessed with my weight, etc.

So I have three majors as well:

educating myself further in a couple things that have constantly sparked my interest, inspired me, etc.

Spend more time on my small business and focus on it a little more.

Read something that is NOT a childrens book...I have made a goal to read one book a month that I CHOOSE.

I am on my way with all of these. I got a new blackberry with my phone upgrade and downloaded a free ebook reader from bn.com so I am excited.

Anyway those are my challenges...I think that I just choose to live this new year and new decade in peace and happiness. nothing is worth stressing over too much. :)

I like the idea of smiling more as your way to make 2010 better, SunBasilGarden! I think I too will incorporate into my plans.

This is great stuff everyone! Thanks for posting and spread the word!!

My biggest change for 2010 is the undertaking of creating a brand new site for my wedding directory. It's long overdue and time to clean it up, re-organize it and add new features that will make it more user friendly for both brides and vendors. It's a very overwhelming task, but one that I anxiously await to share with my audience.

awesome! thanks for the opportunity! :) my big change for this year is figuring out how to keep my creative juices flowing while getting burned out at my full-time job. i'm scheduling a few hours of crafting into each week to intentionally "force" myself to craft, which, shockingly enough, takes some doing when i'm so tired, but once i get going i crave it even more :) sometimes i just need that kick to get me going.

my biggest change I am going to make is to manage my time better. Homeschooling 5, taking care of a house, being taxi mom, having a blog, trying to improve/work on a writing project..I am getting little done badly, I need to get more organized.

fun giveaway! :)

I love these! Thanks for entering. Mary Grace, trust me I feel your pain since I too have a full time job ( 8 years) and I'm feelin the burn!

I love your shop! You are definitely one of my inspirations! All the best in an even more successful year! :)

The biggest changes so far in my life is living a more active life and being truly committed to it.

I've cleaned out a bit on my google reader, deleted over half of my TiVo'd shows (giving up Project Runway wasn't easy!) and my husband and I are looking for activities to do together. So far, we hope to run a 5K, take dance lessons, and maybe learn how to ice skate!

@Stacy - it's rough, isn't it? I love my job 95% of the time, but when I get burned out at work all i want to do is be at home, sewing away. Ironically, the times when I get most burned out are the times when I literally leave work, go home, eat dinner, do a few things around the house, and go to bed, all so I can get up and do it all over again. The times when I need crafting the most (it's the "drug" that keeps me sane ;)) are the times when I can't get it! :-p one of these days... :)

And I must say -- for having a full-time job, you do an awfully good job at keeping up with the crafting :) I love your blog!

My goal for the 10 in 2000 is to be truer to myself. Happiness makes us younger, and it brings a smile to my face. What more could one want out of a year?!

I'm hoping to Slooooowwww things down in 2010 and enjoy the ride. Time certainly flies way too fast when you've got a little one at home and there's no getting that precious time back. So, I'm taking things down a notch, sticking (or attempting) to a schedule and not deviating...my free time is for family only!

Now I'm going to sit back and play some Battleship with my little guy ~ with my fingers crossed ;)!

My biggest change is going to be to prioritize. Running a business from home can make it very easy to "just take care of that later" because I just need to answer one more email. A successful business is most definitely high on my priority list, but not as high as my wonderful family (four boys and a loving husband) and my well being.

Thanks for the chance to win!
