Got A Dream?

Listening to my favorite political talk show host this morning has inspired me for today's giveaway from InkSpot Workshop.

All you need to do is answer this question by posting a reply right here and I will choose a winner on Sunday July 12th at 9:00 pm, EST. Up for grabs is a $25.00 InkSpot Workshop gift certificate. I am looking forward to discovering your dreams or possibly awakening them from within. What is my answer you ask? I'm DOING IT!

I have lots of dreams...one of my dreams is to find a true best friend.

This is about the 3rd blog post I've seen in the past week about following your dreams.

My dream is fairly simple. Have the courage to quit my secure day job and devote myself entirely to my daughter, my husband, my home, my photography, and my design.

It seems like such a simple thing to do - yet, it is so hard for me.

Well, if I was sure I wouldn't fail, I would invest a huge amount of money to have my business developing much more than it is now!

Thanks for your responses so far! The key idea here is "if you knew you wouldn't fail" what would you be doing? This allows you to really dream where the sky is the only limit!!

i would go through with being an architect designing dream houses for people all over the world. sounds 'easy' in theory but when i think of the 8 years school + interning then not knowing if i could ever do my own thing rather than working on someone else's designs...daunting :)

I would live in the Abaco Islands and become a full time diver and work with training dolphins.

Ok, I'll change mine then - cause I know I wouldn't fail at being a mom! I'd start my own photography business.

If I knew I wouldn't fail, I would travel the world and help those in need. When I was little, I wanted to be a missionary or at least help in the field a few weeks a year. That is, until I married and had kids and priorities changed and husband said, "not interested in that kind of lifestyle."

I'd also like to create a product line.

I would move to Asheville and buy a building, open and studio and live upstairs... Downtown so that I could walk everywhere!

I would open a brick and mortar boutique/kids party events venue.

Open a shop and screenprinting studio with German bakery in a beautiful part of the country...and live in a house designed and built by me!

Now this is what I'm talking about!! Great stuff. Funny, all of these ideas seem like sure bets, so what are you waiting for?

I especially love Charlie P's idea of having a studio and a GERMAN bakery! Let's all go work for her? plus we'll need a personal trainer to rid our waists of all those yummy apple dumplings:)
