2009 - Year Of The MIMOSA

It's been officially declared! 2009 is not the year of the monkey, it is the year of the MIMOSA! At least according to Pantone. They chose this color, Pantone 14-0848 Mimosa {to be exact} because it "embodies hopefullness and reassurance in a climate of change.} I agree. Who doesn't like this bright, cheery color?

I'll take mine with extra Champagne please!!

So glad to be ahead of the curve for once. This is my office under redesign as we speak. I did opt to keep the wall color because it energizes my creative juices.

InkSpot Workshop's answer to hopefullness and all of the bad news we are bombarded with every day.

i CANDY - 8th Edition

oops! I almost let an entire Wednesday get away without an i CANDY feature! I had to dig a path to my computer and now here we are...

iCANDY instructions: Click on collage for full viewing pleasure:)

As always, this weeks iCANDY is enthusiastically brought to you by Inkspot Workshop. I'd like to introduce you to a few fellow Etsy sellers that have found their way into my favorites. First up is the clean and crisp letterpress from Color Box Design. I sigh when I look at these tags! When I grow up I want to run a letterpress! Next up is someone who is doing amazing things with ceramics. Dishfuls of Doodles has very modern, colorful and eye catching designs. I really, really, really NEED these in my oh so colorful house. My third and most adorable new favorite are these terrariums from Made By Mavis. Don't they just need little, miniature garden gnome? These just make me :)

Thanks for stopping by, we'll see you next Wednesday, if my office is put back together by then.
