While pouncing on Etsy {favorite passtime} I stumbled across Sidewalk Sensations. Now we all know what sidewalk chalk is right? .... but... sidewalk chalk paint?? My curiosity got the best of me so I bought some. What else is new my husband would say.

The day our goodies arrived, we couldn't wait to dig right in and get painting! First I must say... the packaging was so superior I almost wanted to save my little stack of cuteness and give it as a gift. The way Stacy (not me, the other one) puts the little tubs together with their own paint brushes (each color gets it's own) and tulle ribbon, sigh... you can just tell a lot of L♥VE goes into each order and I definitely will be giving these as kid's birthday gifts.

All we had to do was mix 1 part paint powder with 2 parts water and we were in business. By the way, did I mention Stacy of Sidewalk Sensations used to be a school teacher? Now she's a stay at home mommy of two, so she made sure to make her secret recipe safe, non toxic and washable. Can't beat that! well I guess it could be flavored.

It's amazing to watch your work of art transform right before your eyes. See...the paint (available in 7 colors) goes on a tad watery and slightly darker than you'd expect, then dries into good old fashioned sidewalk chalk and lighter than it started out. Take a look at our proud family's masterpieces...
